Parking sensors
Objective
From 2021, we have been testing parking sensors in the live urban environment of the Old Town and Petržalka. The data collected help us monitor the occupancy and usability of selected parking spaces. The data are also used to evaluate the effectiveness and suitability of the parking policy. From the data collected on parking space use, we can change the duration of parking allowed or the time-span in which these rules apply.
Parking sensors also contribute to the protection of parking spaces for people with disabilities and to the efficient collection of fines for non-compliance with parking regulations in the city district in question.
Benefits for our city
Bratislava residents can use the app to check whether parking spaces are available. In selected locations it is possible to navigate to a given parking space. Information on occupancy can be found on Fleximodo or via ParkDots.
Location of the sensors
- Uršulínska, capacity: 17 parking spaces
- Klobučnícka, capacity: 21 parking spaces
- Nedbalova, capacity: 2 parking spaces
- Blagoevova, capacity: 8 parking spaces
